The forum entitled “ The Family and the RH Bill” was held last July 13, 2011 at the Telengtan Hall.  Invited to speak during this forum was Atty. Jo Aurea Imbong.  A faculty member of UA&P, Atty. Imbong is at the forefront of the Life and Family Rights advocacy.  As a volunteer and Head of the Legal Office of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines, she coordinates a network of pro-life organizations nationwide that monitor family rights legislation in both Houses of Congress.

During the forum, Atty. Imbong shared what steps are being made by parties supporting the RH Bill and how we should interpret what is written under our laws.  With this topic being one of the major issues hounding our society today, the insights and proper interpretation of our laws shared by Atty. Imbong are important in guiding people as regards to this topic.

Invited to attend the forum were parents of third, fourth and fifth year students, alumni, unit heads, and other guests.
