Dr. Grace Liza Y. Concepcion is the Executive Director of the UA&P University Research Office and currently teaches undergraduate History courses at UA&P. She holds a Ph.D. in History from the University of the Philippines Diliman. Her dissertation focused on the rise and development of pueblos in Laguna de Bay from the late 16th to the mid-18th century. She obtained her MA in Historia Contemporanea from the Universidad de Navarra and her AB Humanities from UA&P. 

Dr. Concepcion has published her research in national and international publications. She received fellowships from the Programa Hispanex in 2015 and the Lilly Library at Indiana University in 2019. Her current research project is on land ownership in the Philippines in the 17th century. She hopes to research on women and inheritance in colonial Philippines in the 17th and 18th centuries.
