Dr. Veronica Esposo Ramirez is the Chair of the UA&P Research Ethics Review Board and is an Accreditor of the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA).
She has held various positions in her 25 years of teaching in UA&P: Director for Operations of the Center for Research and Communication, Director of the Education Program of the School of Education and Human Development, and Chair of the Arts Department. She was the first holder of the UA&P-BPI Professorial Chair in Migration and Overseas Filipino Work (2014-2018).
In 2019, Dr. Ramirez won the inaugural APEC Healthy Women, Healthy Economies Research Prize for her study on common health problems of women Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs). She also received the Best Research Award from PACUCOA in 2016, 2018, 2019, and 2020.
She is the author of a number of books on character education and is co-author and editor of textbooks on values education for Grades 1 to 10, MAPEH Grades 7 to 10, and Philippine contemporary art for senior high school.
