Carlo L. Vinoya is currently a PhD candidate in the Mechanical Engineering program at the De La Salle University. He holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from the National University of Singapore.

Before joining the academe, he spent more than eight years in the industry, working in ship conversion and ship repair projects in Singapore. He also engaged in the environmental engineering industry, managing water treatment plants and waste-to-energy construction projects in Qatar and the United Kingdom while he was based in Singapore.

His research interests include environmental and renewable energy related topics, specifically in solar energy, biomass, and nuclear energy. He also specializes in computer-aided design and modelling for engineering research.
