Gian Bagui, a 5th year Industrial Economics student, was selected as Globe’s top 30 graduating students for its innovation competition: Globe Game Changer. Before being finally chosen as part of the Wonderful 30, Gian was part of the Top 50 qualifiers (out of more than 600 participants nationwide) who underwent rigorous assessment through holistic activities and business case simulations last December 9, 2017.
The Wonderful 30 student leaders then joined the three-day Innovation Challenge last January 13 – 15 2018 in Seda Hotel and The Globe Tower, both in Bonifacio Global City. The Wonderful 30 also listened to distinguished speakers and got expert mentorship from Globe’s senior leadership team.
The Globe Game Changer Program, which is where management trainees of Globe are solely hired, gives Gian the opportunity to be a part of Globe’s Management Development Program – an accelerated program which features cross-functional on-the-job-training and rotation, executive visibility and interaction through executive speaker series and mentorship, as well as corporate social responsibility projects that focus on key business thrusts and Globe values relevant to the holistic development of the MDP talent.
Globe Game Changer is the country’s premiere digital innovation competition that aims to bring out the most innovative ideas from the best graduating students in the country – ideas that will change the game in and beyond the telecommunications industry.
