On July 7, the UA&P Department of Information Science and Technology (IST) hosted the 2nd IST Extension Summit. School beneficiaries from Bulacan participated in the summit as well as representatives from the following extension partners:

  • DepEd – Tayo Virginia Ramirez-Cruz NHS
  • DepEd Tayo – F. Mendoza Memorial ES
  • DepEd Tayo Gov. Juanito Reyes Remulla SHS-Imus City
  • National Center for Mental Health

The summit delved into the assistance provided by UA&P to the schools, such as various technological support and trainings conducted for teachers and students. In his message, IST Chair Cyrus Paolo M. Buenafe announced that the good relationship between them and the schools in Bulacan will continue and extend to other schools in the province.

The participating schools were the F. Mendoza Memorial Elementary School in Calumpit, Jose J. Mariano Memorial High School in Plaridel, and Virginia Ramirez-Cruz National High School in Pandi.
