The validity period of the autonomous status of UA&P has been extended to three more years from June 1, 2021 to May 30, 2023 by virtue of CHED Memorandum Order (CMO) No. 7, series 2021. Signed by CHED Chairman Prospero E. de Vera, DPA, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) released the CMO on the Extension of the Validity Period of Autonomous and Deregulated Status granted to Private HEIs last April 30.
As such, the University shall continue to enjoy the benefits of its status as an autonomous institution of higher education provided by CMO No. 19, s. 2016.
