UA&P and Concepcion Business Services, Inc. (CBSI) formalized a partnership last February 6 via a Memorandum of Understanding signed by UA&P President Dr. Winston Conrad Padojinog and CBSI President and Concepcion Industrial Corporation (CIC) Chief Information Officer Dr. Richard Parcia. Promising to strengthen the analytics ecosystem in the Philippines, the partnership will allow for collaborative projects between the two organizations such as research projects, talks, workshops, seminars, conferences and more.
“Analytics, by large, and data science to be relevant… has to be positioned with purpose. The person has to be the beneficiary, and with the common good in mind,” Dr. Parcia said. “This field, with the right frame of purpose, can do wonders for a lot of people.
“We want this partnership to ensure that data can serve society.”
