In line with our goal to recognize individuals that have made a distinguished contribution to society and build a fund to continue their legacy, UA&P has established the Dr. Placido L. Mapa, Jr. Scholarship Endowment.

The Dr. Placido L. Mapa, Jr. Scholarship Grant is awarded to the top five incoming College and Junior College merit scholars with exemplary leadership qualities and potential to be catalysts for change in their community. Student grantees are entitled to a 100% coverage of UA&P tuition and miscellaneous fees; 10-month stipend of Php 8,000; Php 1,000 monthly internet allowance for 10 months; a laptop; and Professional Development Coach from among the UA&P Board of Trustees.
