The Philippine Council for Foreign Relations (PCFR), in cooperation with the University of Asia and the Pacific, will be hosting a forum with Nobel Peace Prize Winner and former Polish President, the honorable Lech Walesa on January 24, 2018, Wednesday, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the PLDT Hall, 4/F ACB building, University of Asia and the Pacific, Pearl Drive, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
The honorable former President Walesa founded the Solidarnosc (Solidarity) free trade union, which helped end Communist rule in Poland.
