The School of Education and Human Development is inviting educators to their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminars at the start of year 2019. Details about each seminar can be found below.
Raise the standards of your teaching portfolio. Join the CPD Seminar for Professional Teachers on January 29, 2019 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in UA&P.
The teaching portfolio nurtures effective teaching through valuable self-reflection. It is an evidence-based assessment of teaching that teachers from K to 12 and instructors/professors in Teacher Education can use for accountability purposes.
Seminar fee is PhP 1500, inclusive of snacks and lunch, seminar kits, and certification of participation. Participants can earn 4.5 CPD credit units. Pre-registration is required. To register, please click here. Deadline of registration is on January 22. See poster for more details.
How do we assess the executive function of children?
Learn from the CPD-accredited seminar for professional teachers on February 12, 2019 in UA&P. This one-day seminar will delve on the concepts of the executive function—described in the literature as essential to daily living, academic performance, work-related activities, and social relationships—and how it bears influence in the way children think and behave, their intelligence, and their academic tasks.
Participants will earn 5 CPD units. Seminar fee is PhP 1500, inclusive of lunch and snacks, seminar materials, and certificate of participation. Pre-registration is required.
