Dr. Nicomedes B. Alviar, Dean of the UA&P School of Social Sciences, Law, and Governance (SLG), was one of the alumni feted by the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy (CSSP) of the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman in celebration of CSSP’s 40th year anniversary.
Dr. Alviar, who holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from UP Diliman, received the Distinguished Alumni Award for Educational Innovation during the CSSP Alumni Homecoming held on October 21 for his contributions to the academe and his work with several local and international non-governmental organizations.
