  • 1. Create your account.
    Click the “Apply Now” button below to begin. Sign up and verify your account via email to access the application portal.

    2. Log in and select your application form.
    Select the appropriate form from the list of open admissions based on your applicant type:

    • Junior College – for current Grade 10 students

    • College – for current Grade 12 students and transfer applicants (note: a transfer applicant is a college student currently enrolled in, or has previously enrolled in, another college or university, and would like to transfer to UA&P) 

    • Foreign/International

      • Foreign: Non-Filipino applicants who are currently studying in or have graduated from any educational institution in or outside of the Philippines.

      • International: Filipino applicants who are either studying in the Philippines or abroad and/or have certifications of international programs or standardized tests who would like to use these certifications in lieu of the UA&P Entrance Exam

    Once selected, you’ll see your Application Checklist. Click Apply to proceed.

    3. Pay the application fee.
    You will need to upload your proof of payment (screenshot of online payment or image of receipt) as well as input other transaction details on your dashboard. Additional payment methods will be available soon. Application fees are nonrefundable.

    4. Upload your requirements.
    Submit the required documents which may vary depending on what type of applicant you are.

    5. Take the Entrance Exam on the scheduled date.
    Once your application is reviewed and marked complete, you’ll be scheduled for an Entrance Exam. An interview will be scheduled after your exam.
    Examinees residing within NCR Plus must take the exam on-campus in UA&P whereas those living outside NCR Plus will be permitted to take the exam online.

    6. Check your Admissions results.
    After completing all steps, your admissions results will be available through your application portal.

  • University of Asia and the Pacific scholarship applicants and regular applicants follow the same admissions process. Read the admissions process here.

    Merit scholarships are highly competitive study grants that may cover up to 100% of tuition and other fees and are offered to the top applicants.

    Qualifications:

    • No disciplinary or pending cases, and must not have been suspended for any reason.

    • Not a transfer applicant.

    • A high school average of at least 90.

    • UAPEE scores are in the 90th percentile.

     

    Requirements:

    1. Complete application for admission (indicate that you are applying for Merit Grant).

    2. Letter of request written or noted by parent/guardian.

    3. Write-up of notable achievements within the last three school years. 

    4. Recommendation from the principal/head of the school where the applicant is currently enrolled.

     

    Qualified applicants may be asked to submit other documents and undergo an interview to determine who will be offered the Merit scholarship. 

    Top merit scholars may be offered the Dr. Placido L. Mapa Endowment Scholarship.

  • Foreign Applicants
    Non-Filipino applicants who are currently studying in or have graduated from any educational institution in or outside of the Philippines are considered as Foreign Student Applicants.

    Foreign applicants whose native tongue or medium of instruction in secondary school is not English should submit certification of having obtained any of the following scores: 

    • IELTS – score of 6.5

    • Oxford ELLT – score of 7.5

    • TOEFL (paper-based): 550

    • TOEFL (internet-based): 75

    • CAE – grade of B or a C1 certificate

    • DAAD – score of 20 per component

    • PTE – score of 58
       

    Foreign Student Applicants will also need to submit the following:

    For those with dual citizenship:

    • Birth certificate

    • Bureau of Immigration-issued certificate

    • Scanned copy of passport bio pages (Foreign and Philippine-issued)
       

    For those with foreign nationality:

    • Scanned copy of passport bio pages indicating the latest date of entry to the country

    • Student Visa Permit (if available)

    • Copy of Alien Certificate of Registration (for those currently residing in the Philippines) 

    • Apostilled scholastic records
       

    Foreign applicants who are able to provide the below-mentioned international certifications may be exempted from taking the UAPEE.
    Foreign Student Application Fee: USD50 (To apply as a Foreign Student, select ‘Foreign Student’ under Classification when completing your applicant information on your dashboard.)
     
    International Student Applicants
    Filipino applicants who are either studying abroad and/or have certifications of international programs or standardized tests who would like to use these certifications in lieu of the UA&P Entrance Exam (UAPEE) are considered as International Student Applicants.
     
    The following International Programs and Certifications are recognized:

    • Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)

      • SAT score of 1140

      • SAT was taken within the last two years

    • International Baccalaureate

      • The IB Diploma was awarded within the last two years 

      • The IB predictive scores in Grade 12 merit a score of 28

    • Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE)

      • AS level – Grade of A with a minimum Percentage Uniform Mark (PUM) of 85

      • A level – Grade of A with a minimum PUM of 85

    • Victorian Certificate of Education General Admissions Test (GAT) and Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR)

      • External government tests such as the GAT or ATAR can replace the UAPEE if tests are taken in June with results released by December of the preceding academic year

      • GAT should have a GWA of B

      • ATAR should be 75 to qualify for acceptance
         

    The SAT certificate, IB Diploma, Cambridge AICE Diploma, or Victorian Certificate of Education should be submitted not later than June 15 of the current year of admission for enrollment.
     
    International Student Application Fee: USD50 (To apply as an International Student, select ‘International Student’ under Classification when completing your applicant information on your dashboard.)
     
    Foreign student applicants who are able to provide the aforementioned international certifications may be exempted from taking the UAPEE.

     

  • What are the general requirements to apply for admission?
    The minimum set of requirements for regular applicants includes a filled-out application form, profile photo, ID, birth certificate, and copy of grades (for evaluation purposes). All submissions can be done online via the application portal.

    Additional requirements will depend on many other factors like nationality of applicant, program being applied for, if applying for scholarship, etc. A list of these requirements will be shown upon selection of the application form on the admissions portal.

    I do not have a valid school ID. What other IDs are accepted?
    You may submit any ID validated by the government, school, etc, that displays your full name and photo.

    Are we allowed to apply for more than one program?
    Yes, you may apply to up to two degree programs in your application form.

    Can I change my program choice after submitting my application form?
    Yes, you may readily change your programs of choice (both first and second choices) on your application portal anytime before you are scheduled for the admission exam. Furthermore, accepted applicants may shift degree programs within the Registrar’s prescribed shifting period before the first enrollment or at the end of each school year at any year level but only up to twice.
