Click the “Apply Now” button below and accomplish the UA&P Admissions Pre-application Form.
You will need to upload proof of current enrollment, e.g., scanned PDF copy of transcript of scholastic record, certificate of enrollment, validated school ID, etc.
Wait for an email to be sent to you containing a link to your application dashboard.
Check your spam folder if you do not receive the email in 5 working days from submission of the pre-application form. Note that the link that will be sent to you is unique per applicant so it is not to be shared with anyone else.
Submit the required documents in your application dashboard.
Click on the link to your application dashboard, edit/complete the applicant profile, and submit the required documents, which may vary depending on what type of applicant you are.
Pay the application fee through the payment channels listed on your dashboard.
You will need to upload your proof of payment (screenshot of online payment or image of receipt) as well as input other transaction details on your dashboard.
Take the UAPEE on the scheduled date.
Upon completion of Steps 2 to 4, the schedule and guidelines for the UA&P Entrance Exam (UAPEE) will be posted on your dashboard.
Wait for the results to be reflected in the dashboard.
You will also receive an email from the Admissions Office informing you of your results.

Merit Scholarship
Merit scholarships are highly competitive study grants that may cover up to 100% of tuition and other fees and are offered to the top applicants.
Qualifications:
- No disciplinary or pending cases, and must not have been suspended for any reason.
- Not a transfer applicant.
- A high school average of at least 90.
- UAPEE scores are in the 90th percentile.
Requirements:
- Complete application for admission (indicate that you are applying for Merit Grant).
- Letter of request written or noted by parent/guardian.
- Write-up of notable achievements within the last three school years.
- Recommendation from the principal/head of the school where the applicant is currently enrolled.
Qualified applicants may be asked to submit other documents and undergo an interview to determine who will be offered the Merit scholarship.
Top merit scholars may be offered the Dr. Placido L. Mapa Endowment Scholarship.
Dr. Placido L. Mapa Scholarship Endowment
The Dr. Placido L. Mapa, Jr. (PLM) Scholarship Endowment aims to provide student grantees with 100% coverage of tuition and miscellaneous fees, a 10-month stipend of PhP 8,000, internet allowance, a laptop, and an exclusive professional development coach from UA&P’s Board of Trustees.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Filipino citizen.
- No disciplinary or pending cases, and must not have been suspended for any reason.
- Not a transfer student.
- A high school average of at least 90.
- Incoming 6YP or College Freshmen.
Additional requirements will be requested as the scholars are short-listed.
Note: One cannot apply for the PLM Grant. It is offered to top merit scholars.
Financial Assistance Scholarship
Financial assistance is granted to students who meet certain criteria, such as financial need, entrance credentials, and academic performance in school. Grantees may be given up to 100% financial aid on tuition fees.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Filipino citizen.
- No disciplinary or pending cases, and must not have been suspended for any reason.
- Not a transfer student.
- The family’s gross annual income should be less than PhP 800,000.00.
- A high school average of at least 85.
- UAPEE scores are in the 85th percentile.
Requirements:
- Complete application for admission (indicate that you are applying for Financial Aid).
- Letter of request written or noted by parent/guardian.
- Write-up of notable achievements within the last three school years.
- Recommendation from the principal/head of the school where the applicant is currently enrolled.
- Fully accomplished financial aid scholarship application form found on your application dashboard.
Financial assistance grantees must render some hours of student assistantship for one school year. The number of hours to be rendered depends on the percentage of the grant awarded to the student.
Athletic Scholarship
The athletic scholarships are awarded to student-athletes who excel in sports and academics, upon the endorsement and recommendation of the Center for Student Affairs (CSA) and approval of the Scholarship Committee.
Student-athletes may enjoy partial (25%, 50%, 75%) to full discounts (100%) on tuition fee and/or fees waived for one academic year (i.e., two continuous semesters) or non-tuition grants (e.g., stipend, board and lodging allowance). Grantees may apply for renewal of the scholarship every year thereafter, provided they meet the set of qualification requirements.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Filipino citizen.
- No disciplinary or pending cases, and must not have been suspended for any reason.
- A high school average of at least 85.
- An impressive athletic portfolio.
Please take note that applicants applying for the Athletic Scholarship shall have their tryouts before the release of their scholarships results.

Arts Scholarship
The UA&P Arts Scholarships are grants awarded to students who excel in arts, music, and academics. The scholarship is for one academic year (i.e., two continuous semesters) and may be renewed every year thereafter, provided retention requirements are complied with. The scholarship may be in the form of:
- Partial (25%, 50%, 75%) to full (100%) discount on tuition and other fees
- Non-tuition grants (e.g., stipend, board and lodging allowance)
The Arts Scholarship is currently available under the UA&P Chorale.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Filipino citizen.
- No disciplinary or pending cases, and must not have been suspended for any reason.
- High school average of 80 or better.
- Must pass general admissions criteria
- Artist’s Portfolio screened by the CSA – Office of Student Development
- Positive interview results
Requirements:
- Complete application for admission
- Letter of Intent
- Two (2) recommendation letters (one from the Artistic Director or Art Instructor and one from the Guidance Counselor or Mentor)
- Artist’s Portfolio
- Solo performance recording (for Music, Dance, and Theatre)
- Summary of Awards and/or Competitions
- Proof of participation in arts and culture-related productions, showcases, conferences, etc. (e.g., certificates, photos, videos, etc.).
Applicants who qualified in the first phase will undergo a callback, which consists of a written exam and a performance evaluation with the Kultura Arts Guild (KAG) Artistic Director.
Unitas Grant
Unitas Grant scholarships are partial to full tuition discounts for dependents of eligible employees of the University. These grants are validated and certified by the Human Resource Management Office (HRM) following the policy and guidelines for the Unitas Grant.
Requirements:
- Complete application for admission (indicate that you are applying for Unitas Grant).
- Complete Unitas Grant application form (to be sent upon acceptance)
- Additional documents to establish dependence, e.g., birth/baptismal certificate of dependent/s, parents’ marriage certificate
FAQs
How do I apply for a scholarship?
When you fill in the Applicant Information Profile on your application dashboard, you have to select the type of scholarship you are applying for in the Other Information section found on the upper right hand part. Additional documents may be required depending on the type of scholarship you are applying for.
Note: One does not have to apply for the merit or PLM scholarship.
Can I apply for 2 types of scholarships?
You may apply for more than one type of scholarship. The Admissions Office will evaluate only complete scholarship applications.
Can transferees apply for a scholarship?
No. Transferees may only apply for scholarships after one year in the university. The scholarship application for current students opens annually from May 7-31.
UA&P accepts transfer students from other universities and colleges accredited by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) who are willing to start again as freshmen and who meet the admissions criteria of the university.
Evaluation
- Prior to application, the transfer applicant must submit a copy of the following for evaluation:
- Official transcript of records
- Certificate of good moral character
- Certification of not being academically dismissed from the` school previously attended
- Letter of intent to transfer
- General Weighted Average should be 2.0 or higher (UA&P equivalent of GWA in other schools). Minimum of 30 units should have been taken.
- Submit all pre-application requirements for evaluation to [email protected] with the following subject heading: Transfer Evaluation – full name (e.g. Transfer Evaluation – Juan dela Cruz)
- If the applicant meets the criteria, he/she will be advised to proceed with his/her application. Do not proceed with the Admissions Process unless advised by the Admissions Office.
Submit all pre-application requirements for evaluation to [email protected] with the following subject heading: Transfer Evaluation – full name (e.g. Transfer Evaluation – Juan dela Cruz) and pay the application fee.
Application for Admission
- Accomplish the application process for admission to the University (see Admissions Process). However, take note of the following changes in documentary requirements:
- In lieu of the School Record Form, submit your Transcript of Records.
- In lieu of the Guidance Counselor Recommendation Form, submit two (2) recommendations from former professors or teachers who know you well. Use the Recommendation Form for Transfer Applicants.
Note: The University reserves the right to credit or not to credit any subject taken elsewhere. A minimum of 75% of total degree program curriculum units will have to be taken in the UA&P in order to earn the degree from the University.
Foreign Applicants
Non-Filipino applicants who are currently studying in or have graduated from any educational institution in or outside of the Philippines are considered as Foreign Student Applicants.
Foreign applicants whose native tongue or medium of instruction in secondary school is not English should submit certification of having obtained any of the following scores:
- IELTS – score of 6.5
- Oxford ELLT – score of 7.5
- TOEFL (paper-based): 550
- TOEFL (internet-based): 75
- CAE – grade of B or a C1 certificate
- DAAD – score of 20 per component
- PTE – score of 58
Foreign Student Applicants will also need to submit the following:
For those with dual citizenship:
- Birth certificate
- Bureau of Immigration-issued certificate
- Scanned copy of passport bio pages (Foreign and Philippine-issued)
For those with foreign nationality:
- Scanned copy of passport bio pages indicating the latest date of entry to the country
- Student Visa Permit (if available)
- Copy of Alien Certificate of Registration (for those currently residing in the Philippines)
- Apostilled scholastic records
Foreign applicants who are able to provide the below-mentioned international certifications may be exempted from taking the UAPEE.

International Student Applicants
Filipino applicants who are either studying abroad and/or have certifications of international programs or standardized tests who would like to use these certifications in lieu of the UA&P Entrance Exam (UAPEE) are considered as International Student Applicants.
The following International Programs and Certifications are recognized:
- Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
- SAT score of 1140
- SAT was taken within the last two years
- International Baccalaureate
- The IB Diploma was awarded within the last two years
- The IB predictive scores in Grade 12 merit a score of 28
- Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE)
- AS level – Grade of A with a minimum Percentage Uniform Mark (PUM) of 85
- A level – Grade of A with a minimum PUM of 85
- Victorian Certificate of Education General Admissions Test (GAT) and Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR)
- External government tests such as the GAT or ATAR can replace the UAPEE if tests are taken in June with results released by December of the preceding academic year
- GAT should have a GWA of B
- ATAR should be 75 to qualify for acceptance
The SAT certificate, IB Diploma, Cambridge AICE Diploma, or Victorian Certificate of Education should be submitted not later than June 15 of the current year of admission for enrollment.
International Student Application Fee: USD50 (To apply as an International Student, select ‘International Student’ under Classification when completing your applicant information on your dashboard.)
Foreign applicants who are able to provide the aforementioned international certifications may be exempted from taking the UAPEE.
FAQs
What are the general requirements to apply for admission?
The minimum set of requirements for regular applicants includes the following: accomplished application form, proof of enrollment, transcript of records, profile photo, ID, birth certificate, and application fee. All submissions can be done online via the applicant’s dashboard. Hard copies will not be accepted.
Additional requirements will depend on many other factors like the citizenship, program being applied for, if applying for scholarship, etc.
How much is the application fee?
Application fee is P600 for Filipino students studying in a private school in the Philippines and P250 for Filipino students studying in a public school in the Philippines. The application fee is $50 for foreign students (non-Filipino students studying in the Philippines or abroad) and international applicants (Filipino or non-Filipino) who are studying abroad and/or would like to submit international certificates (like SAT, IB, etc.) in lieu of taking the admission exam.
I do not have a valid school ID. What other IDs are accepted?
You may submit any valid ID that displays your full name and photo.
I already submitted my application but I noticed that I made an error. How can this be corrected?
Your information may still be edited by going back to your dashboard and completing your profile. If you are unable to do so, you may reach out to the Admissions Office by using the Message Us button on your dashboard.
Are we allowed to apply for more than one program?
Yes, you may apply to up to two degree programs in your application form. Your second choice will have to be indicated in Step 2 on your application dashboard.
Can I change my program choice after submitting my application form?
Yes, you may readily change your programs of choice (both first and second choices) on your application dashboard anytime before you are scheduled for the admission exam. Furthermore, accepted applicants may shift programs within the Registrar’s prescribed shifting period before the first enrollment.
How will the examinations be administered?
We will administer the exams on campus. Applicants will be required to bring their own laptop in taking their exam.
Will there be other exam dates aside from those already posted on the website?
Right now, there are none. However, additional exams may be scheduled as needed. Additional dates will be posted here and on social media platforms when available.
How much is the tuition fee?
This school year, tuition fees per semester range from Php125,000 to PhP152,000 depending on the following: the degree program, total units to be taken, and additional fees required by specific subjects, e.g., lab fee for computer class. Approved final tuition fees for next school year will be provided in time with the release of admission results.
How do I pay for the application fee?
Online and over-the-counter options will be available. Instructions on how to pay will be posted on the applicant’s dashboard. Please note that application fees are non-refundable.
