Vince Agcaoili is an instructor, poet, and musician.
He holds an MA in Humanities, Major in Literature, from UA&P. His thesis focused on a postcolonial reading of the late modernist Jose Garcia Villa’s critical essays, short stories, and poems. His research interests lie primarily in Philippine literature and ecopoetry. He teaches literature and poetry under the Department of Literature and the Humanities Program of the College of Arts and Sciences.
As a poet, Vince was a fellow of the first iteration of Tara, Tula 2020; the UST National Writers’ Workshop 2021; the Spring 2021 fellowship of Albertus Magnus Institute (Sacramento, USA); and the IYAS National Writers’ Workshop 2022. His works have appeared in Tita Lacambra Ayala’s Road Map Series Heritage, UA&P’s The Bosun, Novice Magazine.
