Veronica Isla is currently the Secretary of the Operations Committee of the School of Communication where she has been teaching courses across its programs since 2006. Aside from performing her role as the first Media and Entertainment Management (MEM) Program Director since 2015, she has also been playing an active role in past and present academic committees formed to study various university policies and programs.
She holds two master’s degrees, a Master of Arts in Communication from the Ateneo de Manila University and a Master of Arts in Values Education from UA&P. Her doctoral dissertation entitled “Representation of the Urban Poor in Lino Brocka Films” received the Best Dissertation Award and the Gloria Feliciano Award from the College of Mass Communication of UP Diliman.
