Randy A. Marasigan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree from the University of the Philippines Los Baños, and a Master in Applied Business Analytics from the University of Asia and the Pacific.

He has over 15 years of work experience in the fields of information technology, energy, and geographic information system (GIS), with extensive experience in leadership roles and project management. He teaches at the School of Sciences and Engineering, and the School of Management.
