Nikka Pesa graduated with a Master of Science in Industrial Economics and a bachelor’s degree in Economics, magna cum laude, from the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P). She currently teaches applied economics, managerial economics, thesis, and other subjects at the School of Economics (SEC). She also writes for SEC’s publications, focusing on international economic topics.

Nikka has participated in several research projects focusing on industry studies. One of which is a study with the Geneva-based World Intellectual Property Organization on intellectual property rights, specifically on understanding industrial designs in the Philippines.
