In response to the growing nationwide demand for skilled professionals in family life education, the UA&P School of Education and Human Development (SED) now offers the Certificate Course on Family Life Education.
The course equips participants with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to support families in meeting their diverse needs. Its content is drawn from both international and local literature on family life education, “content areas” identified by the National Council on Family Relations, input from family life education experts, and the experiences of local groups and organizations helping families.
Over the course of 20 Saturday workshops, participants will gain knowledge, competencies, and values for family life education professionals and practitioners in the Philippine context.

Admission Requirements
- High school diploma
- Letter of recommendation from the head of an organization or a reputable individual who can vouch for the applicant’s character
- Interview with a UA&P representative
Fees
- PhP 25,000 (payable in two installments: 50% upon admission and 50% before the 11th meeting)
* Partial scholarships are available, subject to evaluation by the Admissions Committee after individual interviews with applicants
