Three members of the UA&P Center for Student Affairs (CSA) presented their studies on student well-being at the 7th International Conference by IASAS-Global in Daegu, South Korea, from May 21 to 25. The theme was “Education Institutions and Student Affairs Driving Sustainable Change”.
CSA Executive Director Dr. Cecilia Resurreccion and CSA Operations Committee Secretary Ms. Ma. Concha de la Cruz presented their paper on “Measuring Wellness and Human Flourishing in Student Affairs Programs and Services”, focusing on assessing the impact of programs and services on students’ holistic development, supporting the effective mentoring of student well-being in practice.
Ms. Karla Ava Marie Lozano, head of the UA&P CSA – Office of Student Mentoring, virtually presented her research titled “The Experience of Mentoring, Its Perceived Role and Their Impact on the Development of Professional Competencies Among UA&P Graduates.”
The summit emphasized the importance of educating and supporting students for sustainable change and examined responses from various institutions.
