UA&P Law Vice Dean speaks at UN on family life

UA&P Law Vice Dean Atty. Diosdado Marasigan addressed the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs at the UN Headquarters in New York City on May 15, 2024, on the 30th anniversary of the UN Declaration of the Year of the Family.

Speaking as a member of the International Federation for Family Development, Atty. Marasigan highlighted the significance of family life in the Philippines, with households often comprising extended family members. “Family, as the cornerstone of Filipino culture, plays a central role in shaping individual identity and fostering social cohesion.”
