The University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P), through its Center for Student Affairs (CSA), formalized a partnership with Manila Doctors Hospital (MDH) on May 14, 2025, with a Memorandum of Agreement signing held at UA&P. The collaboration establishes MDH as UA&P’s official mental health referral partner, enabling students to access professional psychological and psychiatric services through the CSA – Office of Guidance and Counseling (OGC).
The partnership aims to strengthen the university’s mental health support system by providing confidential, high-quality care for students needing diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing support.

Present at the signing were UA&P President Dr. Winston Conrad Padojinog, CSA Executive Director Dr. Cecilia Resurreccion, and OGC Officer-in-Charge Ms. Ma. Katherine Olivia Nazal. MDH was represented by its President, Ms. Arlene Ledesma, and Hospital Director Dr. Hian Ho Kua.
In their remarks, both parties emphasized their shared commitment to promoting student well-being and holistic development. The signing ceremony not only formalized the agreement but also reinforced both institutions’ dedication to promoting a mentally healthy academic environment where students can thrive.
