The Center for Research and Communication (CRC), an accredited Institutional Privacy Trainer of the National Privacy Commission (NPC), will hold the third run of the online Data Protection Officer (DPO) Foundational and Certification course on March 18, 19, 25, 26 and April 2 via Zoom.

The DPO Foundational and Certification course is a five-day interactive instructor-led training with course study materials developed by subject matter experts, and is a first step to becoming a full-fledged Data Privacy Officer. The course is recommended for those who aspire to be a Data Protection Officer, have a career in data privacy, or have basic knowledge and understanding of data privacy especially those who use, process, and maintain personal data.

The training will be delivered by Atty. Jpee Hernandez and Atty. Karl Baquiran who both previously worked in the National Privacy Commission under the Office of the Deputy Commissioner and the Data Compliance and Security Office, respectively. Participants can earn a CRC and NPC DPO certificate if they pass both the CRC certification exam and the NPC DPO ACE Level 1 exam.
