The 6-Year Integrated University Program (6YP) is a seamless and integrated program with three distinct phases: the first two years are Senior High School (or Junior College), the next three years are the Bachelor’s program, and the final year if the student qualifies, is the Master’s program. The University also offers a program called Junior College Plus (JC Plus) which is less than six years. Below enumerates the different phases in greater detail:
Junior College
The Junior College (JC) program is a two-year program that follows a Liberal Arts curriculum designed to support the Bachelor’s degrees and the six Master’s degrees offered under the JC Plus program and the 6YP. It is likened to the HUMSS strand. The JC program may also be taken on its own. This is equivalent to Senior High School (SHS).
Junior College Plus
The Junior College Plus (JC Plus) program is comprised of Junior College (or SHS) plus three or four years leading to a Bachelor’s degree that is at least 18 units less than the standalone Bachelor’s program.
The following bachelor’s degrees may be taken up under the JC Plus Program:
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
- Bachelor of Science in Data Science
- Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering
6YP
