Foreign Applicants
Non-Filipino applicants who are currently studying in or have graduated from any educational institution in or outside of the Philippines are considered as Foreign Student Applicants.
Foreign applicants whose native tongue or medium of instruction in secondary school is not English should submit certification of having obtained any of the following scores:
- IELTS – score of 6.5
- Oxford ELLT – score of 7.5
- TOEFL (paper-based): 550
- TOEFL (internet-based): 75
- CAE – grade of B or a C1 certificate
- DAAD – score of 20 per component
- PTE – score of 58
Foreign Student Applicants will also need to submit the following:
For those with dual citizenship:
- Birth certificate
- Bureau of Immigration-issued certificate
- Scanned copy of passport bio pages (Foreign and Philippine-issued)
For those with foreign nationality:
- Scanned copy of passport bio pages indicating the latest date of entry to the country
- Student Visa Permit (if available)
- Copy of Alien Certificate of Registration (for those currently residing in the Philippines)
- Apostilled scholastic records
Foreign applicants who are able to provide the below-mentioned international certifications may be exempted from taking the UAPEE.

International Student Applicants
Filipino applicants who are either studying abroad and/or have certifications of international programs or standardized tests who would like to use these certifications in lieu of the UA&P Entrance Exam (UAPEE) are considered as International Student Applicants.
The following International Programs and Certifications are recognized:
- Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
- SAT score of 1140
- SAT was taken within the last two years
- International Baccalaureate
- The IB Diploma was awarded within the last two years
- The IB predictive scores in Grade 12 merit a score of 28
- Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE)
- AS level – Grade of A with a minimum Percentage Uniform Mark (PUM) of 85
- A level – Grade of A with a minimum PUM of 85
- Victorian Certificate of Education General Admissions Test (GAT) and Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR)
- External government tests such as the GAT or ATAR can replace the UAPEE if tests are taken in June with results released by December of the preceding academic year
- GAT should have a GWA of B
- ATAR should be 75 to qualify for acceptance
The SAT certificate, IB Diploma, Cambridge AICE Diploma, or Victorian Certificate of Education should be submitted not later than June 15 of the current year of admission for enrollment.
